Como, points of interest
This path follows the traditional itinerary of the Good Friday’s procession, connecting the Basilica of the SS. Annunciata, on the western side of the city, with the centre of the city and its southern districts.
This most articulated route includes the main footpaths converging to the Cross of Saint Eutichio, tangible sign of the ancient devotion to this saint bishop of Como, and connects some of the oldest places of worship of the city.
This path is tied to the memory of an ancient pilgrimage of the laundresses of Como. It connects the borough of San Giuliano in Pomario with the Chapel of the Nosetta on the old road to Torno, following the eastern side of the hollow of Como, passing through the remains of the popular boroughs placed aside the old merchant harbour of the city.
